Law Interns may expect to be assigned positions which offer both valuable experience and substantial individual responsibility. Successful candidates are hired to work in an office within the U.S. International Trade Commission located in Washington, D.C. on a temporary appointment not to exceed twelve (12) months. During the course of the summer, Law Interns will have the opportunity to work with experienced attorneys and other Commission staff on legal issues arising under U.S. trade laws especially Title VII and Section 337 of the Tariff Act of 1930, as amended. They may conduct legal research, draft memoranda, review and analyze legal briefs, attend legislative hearings, and meet with attorneys and representatives from other agencies.
NOTE : This announcement is open from March 21, 2013 to April 19, 2013 and will be used to fill multiple positions in various offices across the organization.
