POSITION
Summary:The individual in this position manages all functions and activities related to patient registration and scheduling for Central Scheduling at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital.These responsibilities include, but are not limited to, customer service, accurate patient registration and scheduling information and quality review. The person in this position is responsible for directing, organizing, planning and supervising the activities of personnel engaged in Central Scheduling activities, including those related to departmental and provider scheduling, OpenScape Contact Center technology and agent use.Assists Director with planning, developing, and implementing new policies and procedures for Central Scheduling.These functions are performed in accordance with MedStar Georgetown University Hospital''s (MGUH) philosophy, policies, procedures and standards.
EDUCATION:Bachelor s Degree, Preferably in Health Care Management or related field.
Experience:Five to Seven yearsexperience in supervising personnel and project management.Previous experience with computerized scheduling and registration systems a plus.Ability to perform in a high pressure environment and appropriately motivate staff.Ability to organize and prioritize work. Excellent telephone etiquette and customer service skills. Effective oral and written communication skills.Ability to deal effectively and professionally with a variety of different individuals, including other MGUH departments that are impacted by registration/scheduling needs areas.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
