Human Resources Benefits Coordinator

A large non-profit in DC is seeking an experienced Human Resources Benefits Coordinator to join their team. Qualified candidates will have a broad base knowledge of HR practices and specific experience in Benefits Administration. This is a temporary to permanent position available immediately. Salary will be commensurate with experience and range between $20-22 per hour.
Duties:
- Maintains all records relating to benefits, onboarding, performance reviews, promotions, transfers and employee statistics.
- Assists in administering employee benefit programs such as group insurance including life, medical and dental, accident and disability, insurance, pensions, investments, and savings.
- Support the planning of benefits and health fairs for employees.
- Manages the full-cycle onboarding of all employees and contingent workers.
- Ensures that all necessary documents for enrollment are collected and processed.
- Responsible for multiple reports related to HR and Finance.
- Enter and process expense reports.
- Coordinate complex travel arrangements.
Working hours: 9am to 5pm
Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline.
-5-10 years of Human Resources experience.
-Knowledge of HR operations and benefits administration.
-Full-life cycle onboarding experience.
-Experience with 3rd party Insurance and/or Benefits Management software.
