Will focus primarily on the organization, maintenance, and operation of the U.S. Army Information Technology Agency''s Emergency Alert Notification System (EANS). Tasks include maintaining comprehensive database of Agency personnel and their contact infomation; preparing and submitting reports; training system operators; drafting and revising system operating procedures; and supporting crisis communications and notifications during exercises and real-world events. Will support development of Agency Continuity of Operations Plans and Procedures.

Qualifications:
Requirements for EANS Administration include:
1. Experience with SendWordNow''s Emergency Alert Notification System.
1. Must have experience in continuity of operations at the federal level.
2. Familiar with FCD 1, FCD 2, AR 500-3, and other applicable documents.
3. Knowledge of NIMS, ICS, COOP, and Emergency Management as evidenced by completion of FEMA coursework.
4. Be an aggressive administrative person; i.e., willing to chase people down about documentation that needs to be submitted and status updates that need to be completed
5. Comfortable dealing with tight deadlines and able to jump into this situation without hesitation.
The candidate must have an active SECRET clearance and be eligible for TOP SECRET. They must possess good communication skills and be comfortable working in a team environment, yet capable of working independently with a minimum of supervision.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
This position will support Continuity of Operations activities of an important Headquarters, Department of the Army Field Operating Agency (FOA). It requires development and dissemination of clear, accurate crisis action messages to the Agency''s workforce.
Desired Education/
Experience: Working towards a Bachelor of Science degree in a technical field.
Required Skills: Knowledge of working with large databases; Experience in preparing and transmitting crisis action messages; Strong skills in manipulating data and formatting reports.
Desired Skills: The strongest candidates should have a background in Continuity of Operations at the federal level; Knowledge of U.S. Army organization and culture is a plus.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
