The Integrated Systems Group of Leidos has an immediate opening for a Business Process Analyst/Deputy Project Lead at Ft. McNair in Southwestern Washington, D.C.
JOB
Summary:
Business Process Analyst/Deputy Project Lead to engage with Program Management Office leadership and Continuous Improvement team to analyze business practices and needs and develop processes in which the project can excel. The successful candidate will effectively elicit business requirements to include documenting and communicating the business needs, required capabilities, and solution scope.
PRIMARY
Responsibilities:
Perform business process analysis, design, and improvement.
Gather, analyze, document, validate, maintain and communicate requirements (functional, user, interface and operational).
Work with customer and IT project team to prioritize deliverables and negotiate on product functionality.
Perform detailed application and system and data analysis.
Manage requirements and changes.
Provide requirements verification and validation.
Coordinate and facilitate User Acceptance Testing.
Develop user documentation (User Guide, User Training Material, Product Release Notices).
Act as a liaison between the business and IT project team.
Communicate and collaborate with customer.
Collaborate with IT project team to provide a product that meets customer needs.
Communicate requirement related issues and concerns and identify alternatives and make recommendations.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:
Bachelor''s degree with 4
years of related business analysis experience. Master''s degree in relevant field may be substituted for 2 years of experience.
Experience with various techniques and tools for eliciting, analyzing, documenting and communicating business requirements.
Experience working in IT and knowledge of application development and testing.
Demonstrated problem solving, analytical, and research skills.
Demonstrated ability to gather, analyze, and interpret customer needs and translate them into requirements.
Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
PREFERRED
Qualifications:
Business analysis certification and / or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with customers and technology teams.
Ability to influence and negotiate.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage concurrent and multiple responsibilities and deadlines with minimal supervision.
