We are seeking a Spanish-speaking Account Management Associate to join our rapidly growing International Account Management team. The AMA is an integral part of the global relationship management team that interacts with member institutions on a daily basis in order to provide service and secure membership renewals. The AMA supports the team in hitting aggressive renewal goals and ensuring that service strategies are carried out above and beyond expectations.
Our current opportunity is based in Washington, D.C.
Account Management Associate :
Meeting Recruitment Campaign ownership: work with team members through all phases of campaign management (i.e. design, mobilization, completion and tracking of phone, fax or direct mail campaigns) to exceed target goals for each meeting series
Prepare team members for visits: provide relationship history and relevant market info
Responsible for carrying out outreach strategy and organizing in person and phone interactions with member executives
Responsible for general understanding of research agenda and all recent publications to inform member interaction and participate in program-specific servicing plan
Respond to member requests for research or advisory board services
Attend monthly renewal meeting with team members and present meeting recruitment numbers
Preparation and follow up of letters of agreement for renewal
Targeted mailings to membership (i.e. contact list audits, custom research campaigns, on-site recruitment, web utilization, E-mail campaigns)
Basic
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree
Advanced Proficiency in Spanish and English (fluency preferred)
Excellent academic record
Willingness to work outside normal business hours to accommodate international clients and team members
Must possess at least two of the following
Leadership experience
Customer service experience
Experience working in a team environment
Sales or fundraising experience
Experience in an office setting
Ideal
Qualifications:
Fluency in Portuguese, Spanish, and English
Ability to communicate effectively by e-mail and phone with executives
Ability to successfully overcome challenges or obstacles
Experience thinking through problems creatively
Attention to detail
Proven experience managing multiple, competing priorities
Ability to take initiative on projects and through customer service interactions

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
