Job Description
: Concentric Methods, a Cape Fox company is seeking a Communication Specialsit to join our team in support of a US government program. Candidates should possess an active Secret clearance. Essential Functions and Responsibilities
External Communication ?
Assists the Senior Communication Advisor in drafting and editing written materials, including Agency notices, press releases, talking points, speeches, and other materials for external stakeholders, including Congress, media, and partners. ?
Tracks, and/or coordinates M/OAA communications, such as official reports and audits, Congressional inquiries, and media requests. ?
Liaises with other communicators and communication staff on cross-cutting issues to establish and maintain effective working relationship with partners, and community representatives. ?
Prepares and assists in the execution of partner events including coordinating logistics. ?
Serves as a managing assistant for the M/OAA external website. Serves as communications representative for content and quarterly meetings. ?
Serves as the M/OAA Social Media Liaison. Under the supervision of the Senior Communications Advisor, researches and develops and/or coordinates M/OAA specific content for the Agency including newsletter contributions, blog posts, tweets, status updates, pins, photos and videos.
Internal Communication ?
Participates in the development and execution of the M/OAA Communication Strategic Plan. ?
Drafts and coordinates content development from various divisions throughout the office for M/OAA at a Glance weekly newsletter ?
Coordinates and draft internal messaging to M/OAA personnel. ?
Collects, compiles, and edits responses to key issues for review and clearance. ?
Attends, provides meeting minutes, and briefs the Senior Communication Advisor on M/OAA-related meetings. ?
Researches and assists the Senior Communication Advisor in preparing briefing materials and binders for senior staff within M/OAA ?
Maintain communications files and spreadsheets. ?
Serves as a managing assistant for the M/OAA intranet (M/OAA Toolbox). Creates, develops and manages content for the Communications page. ?
Prepares and assists in the advertisement and execution of internal events; suggest ideas, themes or other creative possibilities to help the event; prepares logistics and writes post-event reports. ?
Performs other duties as assigned by the M/OAA Senior Communication Advisor or by the Director of M/OAA including special projects as needed.
Job Requirements
: Qualifications and Requirements: ?
Knowledge of ?
Proper grammar and punctuation, formal report and speech writing techniques. ?
MS Office including, but not limited Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher (or other design software); SharePoint, database management software and shared networks. ?
Principles and techniques of event planning. ?
Basic media relations principles ?
Skills in ?
Writing and editing professional products. ?
Planning and managing projects. ?
Preparing, tracking and maintaining accurate data. ?

Current and active Secret clearance
Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
Strong written and oral communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
Self-motivated with minimal oversight.
Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
