Other Student Part Time 20 hours The Office of Administration is currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated students to serve as unpaid student interns to assist in the performance of its mission of providing support services for the President. OA views student interns as the future of the Federal workforce. The Office of Administration Student Internship Program provides the opportunity to gain valuable professional experience and build leadership skills. Participants in the program will be exposed to the Federal work environment and will learn about the mission of the Office of Administration and its role and responsibility to the Executive Office of the President.
The Spring 2015 Unpaid Student Internship Program is available within the Office of Administration with an anticipated start date of Monday, January 12, 2015 and end date of Friday, May 8, 2015. The interns are expected to work at least 20 hours per week. All intern positions are unpaid.
Students selected for this program will have a unique opportunity to garner insight into the COOP Plans within the Federal Government and the unique role the EOP plays.
Notice: More than one selection will be made within 90 days of the issuance of the certificate, if additional vacancies occur.
Must be a US citizen or national. Reqistered with the Selective Service, if a male born after Dec. 1, 1959. Must be in good academic standings. Subject to pre-employment and random drug tests. RELOCATION EXPENSES WILL NOT BE PAID. Enrolled or accepted for enrollment as a law degree seeking student.
COOP interns will work with our COOP manager to plan and track upcoming exercises within EOP, update master lists of COOP participants, participate in quarterly meeting with EOP components, plan events surrounding the opening of our new site, help with research in COOP areas, and develop strategies for improving our current COOP system.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS : All applicants applying to participate in the Unpaid Student Internship Program must meet the following requirements:
1. Be a US Citizen.
2. At least 18 years of age.
3. Enrolled as a degree-seeking student, taking at least a half-time academic course load in an accredited program.
4. Be in good accredited standings (at least 3.0).

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
