Grant Solutions is a field-facing and multi-faceted unit aiming to build capacity, mitigate risk and promote compliance among World Vision National Office, Regional Offices, Global Center and Support Offices. As a Grant Solutions Capacity Building Officer, youwill bea vital part of the capacity building team who is given varied opportunities to make complex regulations and policies bloom into usable, understandable and accessible tools, materials and training for grant staff.As an experienced trainer, you will work with stakeholders throughout World Vision to develop, present, support and monitor training aimed at keeping World Vision development projects on-target and responsive to the needs of the beneficiaries and the donors.In this role you will be responsible to create and provide learning opportunities (classroom, e-learning and one-on-one coaching) that result in transfer of knowledge and skills, with the goal of improving employee productivity in the area of grant management.
Key
Responsibilities:
Help carry out our Christian organization s mission, vision, and strategies. Personify the ministry of World Vision by witnessing to Christ and ministering to others through life, deed, word and sign.Keep Christ central in our individual and corporate lives. Attend and participate in the leadership of devotions, weekly Chapel services, and regular prayer.
Provide leadership for transformational development and capacity building efforts within the division, promoting and sharing domestic and international program models throughout the partnership.
Analyze and identify training needs, and evaluate effectiveness of training programs.
Inform and instruct staff within the WV Partnership regarding grant management and compliance strategies and models through, training, coaching, technical assistance, presentations, and convening of special capacity development events (e.g., conferences, global meetings, etc.)
Utilize WVUS Grant Solutions Capacity Building Framework to develop and facilitate a learning environment for staff to improve grant management and compliance bother internationally and domestically. Update, enhance and expand work plans and framework as needed.
Enhance grant management and compliance by assisting staff throughout the WV Partnership in their integration of World Vision policies and donor regulations.
Increase, among the WV Partnership and WVUS staff members, understanding and articulation of donor requirements in public and private grants.
Forge strategic relationships between World Vision US and global grant stakeholder institutions for the purpose of research, relevant information, development of new tools or frameworks, and other appropriate roles.
Further develop and define effective working relationships with WV units across the Partnership to design appropriate training and capacity building strategies for grant management and compliance.
Provide information through presentations, informational emails and/or papers as requested to senior staff at World Vision on the status of grant management and compliance.
Make recommendations, substantially participate in development and promote the use of tools, databases, learning management systems and software to promote, educate, and refresh understanding of grant regulations and policies; remain current in development in training and instructional methodologies including technology enhancements, software, and on-line training tools.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Work collaboratively with team members when assigned to work as part of a team.
Keep informed of organizational announcements, activities and changes via regular reading of the WVUS Intranet and other corporate communication tools.
Required Skills
Required Experience
Bachelor's degree in related field. Advanced degree preferred. Broad experience in organizational development, training and/or grant management; 5-8 years.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Proven track record of delivering accurate, targeted and inspiring training materials under deadlines, in face-to-face, online and remote contexts.
Willingness and aptitude to learn new software to create training materials.
Demonstrated ability to create, write, and content suitable for a wide array of professional staff, cultural backgrounds, educational levels and language competencies.
Detail-oriented. Ability to follow-through on a multitude of implementation tasks.
Grant experience a plus, especially with international development grants and participants from a wide array of cultures, languages and educational levels.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
