The primary scope of duties shall be the integration of Microsoft and third-party applications on physical and virtual Windows 2008/2012 servers into the EOUSA information system. Additionally, duties will include creating and maintaining SDLC documentation such as Detailed Designs, Implementation Plans and Operations Guides.
Additional duties for which the candidate shall perform include:
Design and deployment of Active Directory components such as Organizational Units, Group Policies, and DNS records.
Design and deployment of virtual machines on VMware ESXi 4.1/5.1/5.5 infrastructure.
Required Skills and Education
Required education: High School/GED
Required Knowledge and Experience :
o Interacting with the Government clients on a regular basis.
o Working understanding of project management best practices.
o Working knowledge of:
o Microsoft Windows Server 2008/2012
Installation and configuration
Security controls
Application integration
o Active Directory
Architecture
Design
Disaster Recovery
Troubleshooting
o Project management processes
o Enterprise-level VMware features, to include:
VSphere
o Enterprise-level Storage, to include
SAN storage
NAS storage
o Scripting technologies
Powershell and/or VBscript
Preferred Skills and Education
Supplemental/Preferred Additional Qualifications/Experience :
o Related Microsoft certifications such as MCITP, MCSE, MCTS.
o Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate-Windows 7
o VMware certifications (VCA, VCP,, VCAP, VCDX)
o Disaster Recovery planning and deployment
o ITIL Foundations certification
