Permanent, Full-Time Competitive Service, This position requires applicants to possess a top secret (TS) national security clearance with sensitive compartmented information (SCI) endorsement or in the last two years held a favorable adjudication for a top secret (TS) national security clearance with sensitive compartmented information (SCI) endorsement.
This position is located in the Office of the Chairman, Chief Information Officer, Information Security & Privacy Staff of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and provides support in the areas of security. U.S. Citizenship is required. Registration with the Selective Service. Employment Conditions This position requires occasional overnight travel. Coordinates FDIC-wide strategic information and intelligence programs and operations and manages the strategic information and intelligence programs for the FDIC. Represents the CISO through liaison activity with other government entities and ensures that FDIC remains aware of all terrorist, international, and other current strategic information and intelligence impacting the agency.
Interfaces strategic information and intelligence analytical community to determine current strategic information and intelligence trends and patterns; and participates in the drafting of interagency intelligence finished products that directly support FDIC and conducts analysis of raw strategic information and intelligence information derived from open sources.
Prepares cyber security assessments for the CISO and monitors strategic information and intelligence programs designed to fill the informational gaps in existing strategic information and intelligence and assists in malting the dissemination of intelligence more efficient, timely, and effective. Leads the team in assessing its strengths and weaknesses and provides leadership to the team in exploring alternatives and determining what improvements can be made (e.g., work methods, processes and procedures) and resolves simple, informal complaints of employees and refers others, such as formal grievances and appeals to the supervisor or an appropriate management official. Completion of Confidential Financial Disclosure may be required.

1. Knowledge with the planning process for developing intelligence support plans for contingency operations, National Special Security Event (NSSE), Special Events (SEs), and National Level Exercise (NLE).
2. Knowledge of the intelligence community and a clear understanding of the role of intelligence sharing with and among intelligence agencies.
3. Knowledge of the systems, procedures and methods of analyzing, compiling, reporting and disseminating intelligence data, and/or knowledge of organizations) for and methods of collecting and analyzing intelligence data.
4. Ability to review and analyze raw strategic information and intelligence and have the ability to prepare and present oral and/or written reports based on the analyzed information.
5. Ability to consult and resolve personnel and administrative problems and to advise employees and management on various issues.
6. Ability to handle sensitive, controversial and/or confidential material or issues, including labor relations and EEO complaints.

I have worked with the intelligence community, and internal stakeholders to develop priority intelligence requirements.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
