As the corporate sponsorship sales team for NPR network programs, NPR stations, PBS stations and the digital assets of NPR and PBS, National Public Media works with companies across a variety of categories and objectives to generate support for the public broadcasting system, while delivering breakthrough results for sponsors. The Marketing team provides oversight, strategy and support to the sponsorship sales teams in a dynamic and demanding media environment.
The National Public Media, Marketing intern is responsible for supporting the sponsorship team in brand management, website maintenance, event planning, and a daily flow of sales presentations and proposals. This position will collaborate with sales management and will interact with various teams throughout NPR.
Helping to develop, update and distribute promotional and effectiveness materials to the sponsorship sales team and sponsors
Assisting with ongoing maintenance of , a resource for potential sponsors and the sponsorship sales teams
Utilizing audience reseach data and becoming familiar with databases like GfK MRI
Opportunity to support a variety of sponsorship-related activations, including live event execution, as well as internal cross-departmental initiatives
The ideal candidate will have strong writing skills, project management experience, and exude both creativity and strong analytical skills. Experience with HTML, Wordpress, and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills
Exhibit attention to detail in all projects and assignments
Ability to think, plan and execute on multiple projects simultaneously in an organized fashion
Enthusiasm for public media, its mission and its programs

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
