The Investigations Unit intern helps the unit dig deep into complex issues to uncover stories that go beyond daily news reporting, conducting research in a collaborative approach with correspondents and producers to expose corruption, abuse or unsafe conditions in business and government.
Attends team/story meetings
Logs tape and retrieves audio
Researches public/private records and phones sources
Strong research skills and computer literacy, including proficiency in Excel or Access, are required as well as tenacity and attention to detail.
In addition to the regular application items, candidates must upload/attach a writing sample.
