Job Summary
(Purpose) Position supports the Grant and Contract Accounting, Fixed Assets, Investment and Banking units at CWU. Job duties include, but are not limited to, filing documents, preparing letters and communications, maintaining various Access databases and entering information into the accounting information systems (i.e. Peoplesoft).
Required Qualifications

Job Duties
(Essential Functions)
reconcile bank statements
create journal entries
capitalize small and attractive assets
create and manage quarterly reports tracking effort incurred on federally funded grants/contracts
organize filing cabinets
post journal vouchers
maintain all state, federal and private awards in Microsoft Access.
Additional Information for Applicants
(Educational benefits)
The student will gain experience working with an integrated accounting system. They will also directly learn about governmental accounting and the operations of a large accounting office. Additionally, the student will learn accounting skills in a hands-on environment and gain experience working with computer software such as Excel, Word, Access and Peoplesoft.
Job employment begins gradually. Two (2) weeks employment in January, 2015 (19 hrs/wk). Beginning April 1st, 2015 job begins at 10hrs per wk. Beginning June 16th, 2015 job goes to 19 hrs per week.
