Job Summary
The Communication Department at CWU is accepting applications to fill current and future part-time, quarterly and annual appointment lecturer positions to teach classes in teach courses in Communication including Journalism (Broadcast, online & print), Public Relations, Communication Studies, Film & Video Studies. This list is not all inclusive: other courses/subject areas may become available within the department. scheduled as needed.
Required Qualifications
MA in communication, journalism, public relations, film and video studies, or related fields.
Preferred Qualifications
PhD
Evidence of successful college-level teaching.
Committment to interdisciplinary and academic service learning.
Additional Information for Applicants
This announcement will be used to develop a pool of applicants for positions in the department of Communication through spring quarter 2015. Selected applicants may be called on short notice to fill lecturer vacancies on a quarter-by-quarter basis.
Screening of applications begins immediately and will continue as needed. The number of lecturer positions filled varies from quarter to quarter, depending upon the needs of the department. Positions typically start at the beginning of an academic quarter. Your application will be maintained in this pool for consideration through March 2015.
The Communication Department of Central Washington University invites applications to join an eclectic department of oral, written, and visual communication. Our current faculty consists of eleven professors and 300 undergraduate majors. The department offers majors in public relations, journalism (print, broadcast, and online), and communication studies, and directs an interdisciplinary major in film and video studies. Admission to all Communication majors is selective.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
