The Office of Facilities & Environmental Quality (OFEQ) is looking for an energetic, innovative student who will enjoy working in a dynamic and mission driven organization as an Administrative Support Clerk. The ideal candidate will have experience applying forward-thinking leadership in promoting and implementing a vision that fosters organizational excellence. This position will operate a store that recycles excess office supplies referred to as the Green Store. This position requires bending, reaching, standing, extensive walking, and lifting boxes up to 50 pounds. The incumbent will develop and implement strategies and goals set forth by OFEQ that anticipates Herbert C. Hoover Building (HCHB) waste streams, recycling goals and Green Store operational requirements.
This position is located in the Office of Sustainable Energy and Environmental Program.
NOTE: This is a part-time position working no more than 16 hours a week. The hourly rate for this part-time position will be $14.00 plus benefits.

The individual selected for this position will serve as a Support Assistant in the Office of Facilities and Environmental Quality (OFEQ), Office of Sustainable Energy and Environmental Green Store. The individual will perform program support work to environmental recycling program such as:
Communicate with customers.
Inventory all supplies and specify prices.
Pick up donated supplies from customers (lifting, carrying, reaching high shelves, etc).
Stock shelves, counters or tables with merchandise.
Set up advertising displays or arrange merchandise on counters or tables to promote sales.
Keep record of sales and prepare inventory of stock in Excel data base.
Keep the showroom clean and orderly.

You must be a recent graduate who has completed, within the previous two years, an associates, bachelors, masters, professional, doctorate, vocational or technical degree or certificate from a qualifying educational institution such as an accredited technical or vocational school; a 2- or 4-year college or university; a graduate or professional school (e.g., law school, medical school); or a post-secondary home school curriculum. Note: Certificate program is defined as post-secondary education in a qualifying educational institution equal to at least one academic year of full-time study that's part of an accredited college-level, technical, trade, vocational, or business school curriculum.
Veterans unable to apply within two years of receiving their degree due to military service obligation shall have a 2-year period of eligibility to apply that begins from the date of release or discharge from active duty; however, the veteran's eligibility period cannot extend beyond 6 years from the date of graduation.
The Presidential Executive Order for the Pathways Programs was signed 12/27/2010 but the final regulations weren't issued until 7/10/2012. Because of this delay, individuals who graduated between 12/27/2010 and 7/10/2012 will be eligible to apply under the Recent Graduates Program.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
