This position is located in the Rural Housing Service, Office of the Deputy Administrator Multi-Family Housing (MFH). The purpose of this position is to provide expertise and leadership in the development, implementation, and evaluation of federally assisted, rural MFH and commercial lending programs.

Provides senior level leadership and project management for Rural Development Multi-Family Housing (MFH) and commercial lending programs.
Leads the implementation of legislative and regulatory changes to assess their impact on development of MFH programs.
Regularly interacts with contracts within the commercial and lending industry, as well as managers, developers, investors, housing finance agencies, and other in the identification of issues and problems in regulations, oversight and operation of federally assisted rural housing and commercials lending programs.
Applies quantitative and qualitative methods in the analysis involved in federally assisted rural Multi-Family Housing and commercial lending programs.
Collaborates with Multi-Family Housing Direct and Guaranteed Divisions and Portfolio Management Division on process improvement and risk management/analysis.
Leads intra-office development and implementation teams.

Examples of qualifying experience may include: Writing financial reporting and financial analysis tools and techniques related to commercial lending practices; analysis and evaluation of program effectiveness and determining the appropriate course of action for improvement; elicit cooperation and deal effectively with representation of Federal and non-Federal organization on loan and grant program matters and meeting and dealing with senior management officials to make effective presentation of plans and technique proposals with a variety of audiences

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
