Job Details:
MedStar Physician Partners seeks a qualified candidate for a physician practice located on 19th Street in Washington , DC. This position includes both clinical and administrative duties in an ambulatory setting under supervision of a physician. Duties may include venipuncture, documentation of vital signs, and assisting physicians with patient exams.
Requirements include:
-High School Diploma or equivalent
-Completion of an approved Medical Assistant program preferred
-RMA/CMA certification
Current RMA or CMA certification preferred. Candidates who are otherwise qualified have 6 months from date of hire to acquire RMA or CMA certification.
-CPR certification
-Externship experience in a medical office or ambulatory health environment preferred
-Excellent customer service skills
Additionally, knowledge of front and back office duties is preferred. Experience with electronic medical records is a plus.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
