POSITION Overview:
ANSER, Inc. is seeking a Chemical and Biological Defense (CBD) Technical Advisor for Strategy/Plans in support of the Plans Director (GS-15/O-6) and provide CBD technical subject matter expertise to the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Chemical and Biological Defense (ODASD(CBD)) to assist in the oversight of the Department of Defense's Chemical and Biological Defense Program (CBDP). This position provides research, analysis, programmatic, strategic, and policy support services to enable the effective and efficient oversight, coordination, review, and strategic planning of the CBDP. Work is to be performed onsite at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA. POSITION
Responsibilities:
Provide technical subject matter expertise on chemical and biological strategy development efforts. Provide subject matter expertise on issues related to emerging trends in science and technology (S&T) and its implications for Department of Defense (DoD) / United States Government (USG) policy and for capability development for the warfighter. Engage in DoD, interagency, and external synthetic biology forums. Provide CBD subject matter expertise across the interagency. Understand and advise on emerging technologies (review technology watch products, reports, and scientific literature). Understand and advise on current and emerging chemical and biological threats by reviewing intelligence products, participating in threat days, and engaging the Intelligence Community. Develop CBDP position papers on emerging technologies' implications, in both risk and opportunity, for the CBDP. Participate in strategic planning efforts, to include CBDP management, metrics development, strategy development, and reorganization efforts. Shape CBDP's investments by providing inputs to key documents, such as the Planning Guidance. Assist with deep dives, particularly on topics related to biodefense. Provide expertise in requirements forums and studies, as appropriate. REQUIRED SKILLS/EDUCATION/
Experience:
Possess an active TOP SECRET security clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI). Bachelor's degree in a related field. 10
years of relevant work experience. Recent experience with the DoD Correspondence and Task Management System (CATMS). Must provide documentation to substantiate fully vaccinated status against the COVID 19 virus. DESIRED SKILLS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE (NOT REQUIRED):
Bachelor's or advanced degree in physical or life sciences. Experience within one of the components of the Chemical and Biological Defense Program or with an interagency equivalent. Prior experience with the oversight of acquisition programs. Prior experience and/or knowledge of government contract acquisition processes. Completion of Defense Acquisition University Courses Acquisition 101 and 201. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
