Senior Engineer - Salesforce CPQ at Apptio in Remote
Responsibilities Responsible for executing functional/technical project tasks primarily for Configure, Price Quote (CPQ) and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), with additional Admin responsibilities for Salesforce. Manage multiple PriceBooks, products, and pricing/discounting elements. Proficiency in using native and custom CPQ automation components to fulfill sales, product, and revenue requirements. Can troubleshoot and provide solutions to CPQ limitations that may arise with highly specialized or very complex pricing requirements. Manage advanced approvals Maintain a holistic view of all business system processes and users, to understand functional impacts to configuration, process, workflow and reporting Work with business systems analysts and other business stakeholders to refine requirements and translate business needs into optimal system solution design Support deployment and post-implementation testing/validation of configuration changes and releases Provide ongoing end-user support to resolve issues within the Salesforce platform and related applications. An ability to act proactively and with a keen detail-oriented eye for task management, work back plans, and compartmentalizing work to maintain sufficient accountability to colleagues. Qualifications Salesforce CPQ Specialist certification required Additional Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Salesforce CPQ Specialist) preferred Minimum 4
years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience Minimum 3
years Salesforce CPQ administration, ideally in the SaaS industry Experience with Conga Composer and CLM Bachelor's Degree and passion for Salesforce are required In-depth understanding of contract management and renewal forecasting. In depth knowledge in Product setup, Product options, Product configuration and rules, Pricing, Discounting, and Quote templates in Salesforce CPQ Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to communicate to different audiences such as executives, managers, end users, administrators, and developers is required. Experience and comfort operating in both team-oriented and individual contributor settings is required.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
