Our client is a nonprofit organization focusing on local health founded in the 1960s.
Due to growth, they are hiring a Grants Accountant in their Washington DC headquarters.

Overview of the Grants Accountant role:
This person would be doing the administration and accounting for federal grants; working with program people to track costs, submitting project narratives, reviewing financial reporting packages and reviewing receipts for validity and working with subgrantees, and reporting financials to the government.
Preferred Qualifications for the Grants Accountant:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field 2-3 years of grants experience Nonprofit experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills #CFSNOV2021.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
