We have a long-term contract opportunity available for BARDA (Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority), one of our US Federal Government clients located in Washington, DC.
Remote work will be acceptable with the willingness to travel as needed to sites and to DC.
Program & Portfolio Manager
Responsibilities:
Review and advise on contracts and agreements on proposed and existing projects and programs Prepare draft work statements (SOW, SOO, PWS, White Papers, BAA's) for solicitations (Request for Information (RFIs), Request for Proposals (RFPs), Sources Sought Notices (SSN), et al) Review and advise on contract proposals (formally and informally submitted), as requested Provide program and project development level portfolio management and oversight Develop, implement, and consciously improve acquisition planning efforts Assist in contract negotiations on project management matters, as requested Deliver briefings on relevant subject matter for senior leadership
Qualifications:
At least 15 years of US government and/or commercial contracting/agreements and project management experience.
A BS is required with a degree or coursework in engineering a plus, and MBA is preferred.
Strong candidates with demonstrated relevant experience will also be considered.
Significant experience in all areas of government contracting is strongly preferred Significant experience interpreting and implementing the Federal Acquisition Regulations Significant experience in managing US government projects would be plus Experience in developing acquisition strategies and related documents Experience in writing and reviewing contracts and agreements Experience with US government projects with high visibility from senior officials Please be advised that Tunnell employees are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as per CDC guidelines and subject to legal requirements.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
