Analytic Services, Inc. (ANSER) is seeking a Legislative Analyst to support the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Counternarcotics and Global Threats (ODASD (CN>), under the Office of the Secretary of Defense for Policy, in ODASD (CN>) spaces at the Pentagon, Arlington, VA. ODASD(CN>) develops, implements, and oversees DoD Counterdrug (CD), Counter-Transnational Organized Crime (CTOC), and Counter-Threat Finance (CTF) policy, priorities, and strategy consistent with national and DoD strategies and objectives. The individual in this role will provide legislative research and analysis to help inform DoD CD/CTOC/CTF plans and programs. Position
Responsibilities:
Analysis of congressional legislation and USG policies and regulatory requirements that may impact or relate to DoD and U.S. interagency partners' efforts to counter global drug trafficking and other illicit threat network activities that threaten U.S. national security interests. Analysis and review of DoD legislative proposals for content, technical accuracy, supporting justification, and compliance with policy and guidance that involve or relate to DoD efforts to counter illicit threat network activities. Preparing congressional notification packages supporting execution of DoD CD/CTOC/CTF programs for USG personnel review. Research and analysis to help inform drafting proposed changes to governing legislation, preparing congressional testimony and responses to congressional correspondence, and drafting agency responses to audit reports from the DoD IG, GAO, and other federal oversight entities. Required Education/Skills/
Experience:
Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI). Master's degree in a relevant field of study 10 years' experience providing services to senior general/flag officer ranks and/or SES levels within the DOD, other government agencies, or industry corporate equivalents. In-depth knowledge of U.S. legislative processes and DoD authorities Exceptional oral and written communication skills, and the ability to translate highly technical information into plain language for effective communication with DoD and other USG staff in the performance of all duties, tasks and services. Desired Education/Skills/Experience (NOT REQUIRED):
Familiarity and experience with DoD's Planning, Programming, Budget, and Execution System (PPBE) processes and cycles. Familiarity with DoD CD/CTOC/CTF policy and the unique complexities associated with DoD CD/CTOC/CTF funding.
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Government & MilitaryEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
