Floor Technician - Weekend (NARA I) Job
Summary:
EMCOR Government Services is seeking a Floor Technician (Weekend Shift) in Washington, DC.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and buffing the floor surfaces of commercial buildings.
Perform maintenance activities Labeling chemicals correctly.
Cleaning, maintaining, and storing equipment and PPE proficiently.
Keeping an inventory of floor areas, and scheduling cleaning and maintenance duties.
Measuring chemicals correctly Performing cleaning tasks and special projects Follow all health and safety regulations Abundance of walking, bending, kneeling, carrying and working in uncomfortable positions.
Moving furniture before and after cleaning.
Qualifications:
Proven working experience as a janitor (5 Yrs experience) Must be a self-starter Must be willing to adhere to company policies Must be able to pass background check on credit and criminal Must be able to work any shift assigned Familiarity with SDS Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies Ability to handle equipment and machinery We offer our employees a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package and are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
