PSI seeks a Senior Specialist, Accounts Payable that will be a key player on an AP team of four people who process vendor invoices, expense reports, credit card statements, and sub-recipient advances and liquidations in a timely and accurate manner in an international, multi-currency environment. Work with a large ERP (Lawson), Ascend, and Concur. The role will analyze large, complex data sets in Excel, and contribute to special projects such as process improvements and system implementations. Your contributions -Collaborate with AP team of three people to oversee the timely, complete, and accurate processing of accounts payable, travel and expense reports, credit card statements, and sub-recipient advances and liquidations in multiple currencies. Approve weekly payment runs. Liaise with internal stakeholders and external vendors to research and resolve issues as needed. Ensure vendor setup and maintenance is timely, complete, and accurate. 40% of Time -Support audit samples and walk auditors through processes. 25% of Time -Reconcile accounts payable related general ledger accounts. 15% of Time -Amortize and allocate prepaid expenses. 10% of Time -Perform other duties and special projects as assigned. 10% of Time Time percentages listed above are not exact. They are estimates and may change. What are we looking for? -Bachelor's Degree (or international equivalent) in Accounting or related field -At least 7 years of related experience. Equivalent combination of related education and experience may be substituted. -Expertise in MS Office with advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, vlookups, sumifs and other advanced formulas). -Familiarity with Lawson, Ascend, and Concur preferred. -Ability to work independently. -Strong communication skills. -Excellent customer service, relationship building/management and consensus building skills.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
AccountingEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
