Job Description:
We are seeking an outstanding sales leader to join our team as Director of Sales for our Law Enforcement team, which includes State Dept, DoJ, Military Intelligence, and CYBERCOMMAND. In addition to requisite passion, skills, and experience, the successful candidate will have a measurable track record in building and running robust sales organizations. You will play a key role in driving a significant share of revenue for Splunk.
Responsibilities:
Directly lead the sales team and work closely with the extended sales team, including technical resources, inside sales, business development, marketing, and our partner community You will consistently deliver aggressive license, support and service revenue targets and demonstrate a dedication to the number and to deadlines Territory mapping, strategic account planning, deal inspection, and opportunity management Negotiate favorable pricing and business terms with large government agencies and Program Business by selling value and return on investment Maintain and establish executive customer relationships to promote a joint agency/Splunk vision Partner with sales engineering and in-house professional services as well as partner solutions and professional services resources Player /coach, hands-on with the team; very involved with account planning, strategy and sales calls You will hire the right team to match our growth Use our sales methodology and processes effectively Understand how to leverage both international and domestic colleagues to expand deal size and value to the customer You are a good corporate citizen - a two-way flow of meaningful and timely information; work as a team for the most efficient use and deployment of resources Provide timely and insightful input back to other corporate functions, particularly product management and marketing Qualifications 5
years demonstrated ability building and running front line sales teams; ability to grow and scale upward with the company; second-line management experience a plus Active TS/SCI (CI or FS poly preferred) 10
years direct and channel selling experience to large, federal enterprises Very comfortable in the Federal/DoD/Intelligence community Deep understanding of DoD cyber programs is a plus Forecasting commitments and forecasting accuracy Outstanding management, interpersonal, written, and presentation skills Thrives in a fast paced, high growth, constantly evolving environment Able to work independently and remotely from other members of your team and corporate Relevant software validated experience in IT systems, enterprise or infrastructure management Experience selling to & running meetings with executive staff and stakeholders Use CRM systems (Sales Force) extensively Track record of success and knowledge with prospects and customers in the defined territory Bachelor's degree preferred; MBA a plus
Salary Range:
$200K -- $250K
Minimum Qualification
Sales Management & OperationsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
