The Product Manager is responsible for providing proactive leadership, operational support, and strategic planning for the Associate and Advanced Level Certification structured products at ACAMS. The person in this position wakes up every day thinking about how to speak for our customers and how to build an ecosystem of products relating to the ACAMS Associate and Advanced Level structured programs. This person develops, executes, and communicates program initiatives to build, enhance, and execute programs and maximize revenue, and is knowledgeable about product features and benefits, as well as customer perceptions, needs, and challenges. Responsibilities The Product Manager oversees the life cycle of Associate and Advanced Level Certification structured programs from conception to retirement, collaborating closely with different functional and regional teams. Perform market, competitive, and customer research to understand the market and the needs of current and potential customers. Document the user experience of members in accessing and using their structured programs. Track use and perceptions of ACAMS Associate and Advanced Level structured programs, including regular surveys and other research methods. Coordinate and align with cross-functional teams the Specialist Certification Programs within the ACAMS ecosystem of products, with a focus on priority segments. Create a set of customer personas, detailing different types of customers and their perceptions and usage of Associate and Advanced Level structured programs. In collaboration with other functional teams, identify potential improvements to structured certification programs and work to propose, present and implement them. Coordinate with product development, marketing, sales, and operations to ensure necessary decisions are driven to conclusion and a go-to-market strategy for new structured products or altered benefits is developed and executed Based on feedback from B2B and B2C customers, external and internal stakeholders, as well as market performance, determine if updates to structured products are needed and ensure proper prioritization Demonstrate structured products to key internal and external customers as needed. Partner closely with operations, marketing, customer support and sales teams to ensure all structured products are properly set up and functioning within Information Systems to maximize efficiency and enable the best possible customer experience Problem-solve issues relating to product design and delivery. Assist with the establishment of clear policies and processes pertaining to ACAMS structured certification programs with sales and customer service teams Collaborate with the operations team on planning/scheduling of virtual classrooms and assessment of faculty Resolve escalated customer service inquiries and policy-related appeals (e.g. recertification). Establish, follow, and communicate the parameters under which exceptions can or will be granted Attain a knowledge level of the ACAMS advanced and associate level certification program content to be able to speak questions. Leads other projects and completes other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree required; Master's degree preferred 10
years of professional experience, with supervisory experience 5
years of program or product management experience 3
years of experience in the field of Finance (preferably financial crime) Requires critical thinking and problem solving skills, strong teamwork, negotiation and delegation capabilities. Clear indication of progressive responsibilities including a track record of managing complex issues, preferably in a dynamic, high pressure culture demanding high quality thinking and output. Superior team skills with proven ability to collaborate successfully with all organizational functions and levels with emphasis on building strong, productive relationships. Must possess excellent problem solving and strategic thinking abilities. Ability to influence and partner with internal and external customers. Must be fluent in the English language. Fluency in additional modern languages is a plus. Must possess excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Brand Marketing & ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
