Director, People Operations at PerfectServe in Remote
Position Overview:
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and partnering with the Director of Talent Operations, the Director of People Operations is responsible for leading and maturing PerfectServe's HR operations, including payroll, benefits administration, compensation administration, compliance with US and Canadian employment regulations and the HR tools and systems to support the rapid growth of the business.
Responsibilities:
Serve as subject matter expert for UltiPro/UKG, corporate compliance, ERISA, OSHA, FLSA, ADA, FMLA, COBRA, equal employment and affirmative action plans, policies and procedures, as well as applicable federal and state laws. Conducts research and analysis of organizational trends including review of reports and metrics from the organization's human resource information system (HRIS) or talent management system. Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and company leadership regarding trends in benefits and total rewards. Partner with the Talent Operations team to ensure seamless onboarding and offboarding for all PerfectServe employees. Approve payroll for multiple locations. Conduct regular internal audits to ensure a high level of compliance with company policy and federal law. Requirements:
Lead all aspects of US/CA payroll and benefits administration including:
Payroll, Benefits, Retirement, HRIS, and Compliance Oversee Payroll and Benefits team; setting objectives and goals for the team and tracking progress Monitor and improve efficiency of the employee service model to respond to employee inquiries Ensure policies and procedures are compliant both internally and externally; work with Legal to design and implement HR policies Provide guidance and support to employees and management of company's HR policies and regulations Serve as subject matter expert on local, state and federal and country employment laws and compliance requirements Ultimately, ensure People Operations operates efficiently and aligns with PerfectServe's strategic goals
Qualifications:
At least 7 years of experience in payroll, benefits, or human resources Prior experience as an HR Operations leader or a similar role Experience managing a 401k and benefits program Experience in leading US and Canadian payroll and tax compliance Broad experience with human resources practices and disciplines with a focus on developing, leading, and/or managing programs and operations Previous experience developing and maintaining relationships virtually Demonstrated experience building collaborative relationships that lead to successful execution of defined goals Experience with M&A, integrating cultures and working with a private equity firm strongly preferred
Salary Range:
$150K -- $200K
