Psychiatrist / part-time consultant (long-term care evaluations)

Job DescriptionDue to continued organizational growth, Liberty Healthcare Corporation currently seeks a Psychiatrist for a new 'as needed' consulting role.
This work will involve using the Preadmission Screening and Resident Review (PASRR) tool to evaluate people for serious mental illness and / or intellectual disability - with a focus on ensuring people are in the most appropriate setting based on their individual needs.
More specifically, you will consult with Liberty Healthcare's PASRR Coordinator and conduct preadmission screening and resident reviews to help ensure that individuals are not inappropriately placed in nursing homes for long term care.
You will be hired by Liberty Healthcare Corporation as an independent contractor and paid a competitive rate for each hour worked.
Please note - this work is anticipated to amount to only a few hours of work weekly.
Skills & RequirementsYou're a good fit for this position if you are Board Certified in Psychiatry and licensed to practice medicine in the District of Columbia.
Additional licensure in the State of Maryland is preferred but not required.
This position requires at least three years of experience conducting mental health assessments of older adults as well as people who have serious mental illness and/or intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
