Primary responsibilities include day-to-day accounting and administrative support of the development team this is primarily an accounting focused role tracking and processing General Contractor pay applications, creating and managing project budgets, coordinating and reviewing financials with internal stakeholders, and preparing owner draw applications for lender approval, including coordinating with external stakeholders.
Essential Functions:
Delivers monthly reports on Watermark expenditures to partner developers, as well as reconciles budget vs.
actuals for multiple projects at once Develops a full understanding of Watermarks accounting systems to communicate process to third party developers, and collaborates with external accounting and project management teams to ensure projects are delivered on budget Facilitates invoices, lender draw requests, and payment processing and serve as vendor point person for development related billing issues Prepare accurate and timely financial information, including posting journal entries, account reconciliations, budgeting, cash management, and forecasting models used for cash flow Work with internal and external business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls and provide support on special requests Assisting in facilitating project budgets and schedules, including monthly variance analysis to be reviewed with community teams and construction leadersThe right candidate will be an organized, hands on, team player with exceptional communication and time management skills.
