LMI is seeking a qualified candidate to join a high performing team executing ICE's strategic plan.
This position will advise the ICE Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), within the US Department of Homeland Security, on strategic support services across its multi-year strategic planning program.
The Senior Strategic Planner will lead collaboration across the OOCFO to support alignment of goals, objectives, processes, documentation, metrics, and tools.
They will capitalize on existing processes while identifying, prioritizing, and correcting key information gaps and process shortcomings.
This resource may produce briefings, white papers, and other presentations to support the mission.
They may also review documents to validate compliance with OCFO's vision and goals.
The successful candidate for this position will support ICE OCFO in Washington, DC.
Responsibilities Working independently, and as a team member, you will be responsible for a wide range of activities.
Representative responsibilities include:
Collaborate with Government executives and business segment leaders to support, imbed, and potentially edit the OCFO's strategic plan across the organization.
Collaborate with Government executives and business segment leaders to develop and periodically evaluate detailed roadmaps that define the steps required to achieve strategic goals and objectives.
Work to comprehensively and continually understand Government Executive and business segment leaders' strategic execution needs.
Provide support to the Government lead, such as briefing materials, process requirements, documents, stakeholder coordination, and meeting support as needed.
Assist OCFO with developing and presenting reports and data representations communicating both key strategic information and project progress, problems and solutions.
Support the Government lead to maintain and execute strategic initiatives through prioritization and lifecycle management methods, tools and techniques.
Develop and implement results-based metrics to track progress toward strategic goals, analyze data, develop reports, and present findings to involved stakeholders by participating in meetings/forums and coordinating, consolidating, developing and delivering/presenting associated meeting materials (eg slides, after action reports, minutes).
Engage, coordinate, and collaborate with strategic partners, including Government executives, to ensure continuity of efforts and operations toward strategic goals across the organization.
Develop white papers, information and decision briefs, and Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ), providing strategic planning best practices to the Government.
Qualifications Bachelor's Degree required, MBA or graduate degree in management preferred Minimum of 10
years of experience in strategic communications Proven leadership of complex project teams Experience in strategy development and analysis with Senior Leaders.
Ability to effectively solve problems Ability to develop metrics and data visualizations Strong communication skills, both oral and written A true team player who maintains a positive attitude in a dynamic environment Position requires DHS Security clearance/BI.
Candidates with existing clearance preferred.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
