Job Description:
ECS is currently looking for an experienced Technical Writer to join our team to support the Medical Materiel Enterprise Standardization Office (MMESO).
The MMESO effort is the DoD's enterprise-wide program for clinically driven, logistically supported, medical materiel standardization.
The goal of the MMESO is to support the Military Health System's (MHS) enterprise objective of implementing an integrated, collaborative process for medical materiel standardization that combines operational and institutional requirements for the purpose of improving clinical outcomes, enhancing readiness and training, controlling costs, and improving interoperability.
Responsibilities:
Provide a medical commodity Technical Writer to draft, assess, revise, and approve all essential DoD MMESO documents, to include medical evaluation requirements and criteria.
Coordinate with both the clinical and medical acquisition communities; review acquisition documents for adequacy, testability of medical/clinical requirements, and thoroughness; analyze and evaluate reports for consistency with previous information, standards, and deviations from the norm.
Perform continuous review and follow-up on medical/technical development processes to minimize adverse outcomes on individual standardization projects and applies technical expertise to provide recommendations and strategies for process improvement.
Review execution of requirements for trends, identifying and resolving potential repetition or problem areas for future projects.
Prepare documents for official posting on Federal Business Opportunities (FBO), internal instructions, operating policies, procedures, and guidelines concerning assigned area, and effectively communicates information.
Required Skills:
Must be a US Citizen and eligible to obtain a Secret ClearanceBachelor's degree in technical writing, English, communication or related degree.
Required 5 years of specialized experience in writing requirements, MRs, and/or test plans is required.
Experience in health-care related test and evaluation, medical logistics, and acquisition is required.
Possess strong technical or scientific writing and editing abilities as demonstrated in professional work samples.
Knowledge of medical supplies and regulatory compliance (FDA requirements, Good Manufacturing Practices, and applicable Quality systems standards) is required.
Demonstrated experience giving oral presentations, task prioritization, and project management are required.
Desired Skills:
Master's Degree and clinical background highly preferred.
Demonstrated experience in the implementation of healthcare standardization and business re-engineering of medical healthcare systems is preferred.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
