Responsible for generating existing and/or new sales for assigned named accounts or assigned geographic, territory, industry or accounts list, or for identifying and recruiting strategic partners to embed and/or resell company products.
Promotes and sells products and/or solutions to current or new customers/partners and informs customers of new product introductions.
Creates monitors and revises lead generation plans.
Responsible for developing customers and maintaining their satisfaction.

Summary:
The Flow Cytometry, Regional Account Manager will be responsible for both capital equipment and consumable sales.
The RAM will position and use product features, benefits and applications within the academic and pharmaceutical markets.
The position requires the ability to perform product demonstrations and conduct customer seminars & trainings.
Candidates must be self driven, technically strong, and demonstrate proven experience within the flow cytometry market to achieve or exceed the assigned territory sales plan.
The RAM will also be the primary driver of sales development at key accounts designed to penetrate and grow current and new business!
Responsibilities:
Responsible for developing specific account and territory strategies, which ultimately serve to promote the sale of the Flow Cytometry products and services within the assigned territoryGenerate sales calls, schedule visits to current and prospective clients/customers, and effectively handle all stages of sales cycleApply solid understanding of Professional, Consultative, and Strategic Selling skills to maintain existing business, develop incremental business in existing accounts, and conduct cold calls to develop new accountsGreat teammate, who works enthusiastically and effectively with marketing, field applications, and service to support and drive an overall positive customer experienceServe as a channel of information to the internal marketing and support teams on customers, markets and competition.
Receptive to guidance on markets, prices, products, deliveries, and competition from the business unit and sales managementAct as company consultant for problems, and provide initial support to solving those problems related to the use of our technology in the marketQualify sales leads, answer inquiries and maintain accurate records of activities using approved CRM softwareAttend sales meetings, maintain an outside sales office, and an up-to-date database of clients/customers for opportunity pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM purposes.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
