Seeking an experienced software engineer who is capable of acquiring and translating requirements into design and implementation for a complex system.
This position requires the ability to work independently and take initiative while working effectively as a senior member of a project team.

Responsibilities of Senior Java Developer:
Assist in project planning and provide business systems analysis on front end of projectsDevelop effective business and technical designs for new applications based on business unit requirementsCoordinate the technical activities of a development team following the direction of a project manager if one is assignedUnderstand relationships between applications within the Software Engineering Department portfolioDevelop applications using an accepted ACS software development lifecycle methodologyPerform in depth application testing and integrate quality into all workTroubleshoot problems in development, staging and production environmentsRegularly communicate development status to project managers and other interested partiesRequirements of Senior Java Developer:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience5
years with java programming experience, with strong J2EE, Oracle, Windows server and UNIX/Linux knowledgeExperience with java frameworks - J2EE, STRUTS, Spring, Hibernate, Log4J, JUnit and Jakarta Common libraries and their respective practicesStrong understanding of design patterns and J2EE design patterns.
Strong understanding of OO Design concepts and principlesExperience in developing and troubleshooting web applications including application and web security aspectsManage delivery to both the functional and non-functional requirements, including performance, scalability, availability, reliability and securityWorking knowledge of XML in a Java programming environmentJob ID no.
