System Security Architect

BACKGROUND:
The Division of Financial Management (DFM) of the company is seeking an experienced individual to provide advisory services in support of the secure implementation of cloud solutions. We are looking for an experienced architect to work directly with cross-division SMEs and provide insight, advice, and recommendations to ensure the successful implementation of this strategic priority; with a targeted focus in FedRAMP, FISMA, and Privacy Act and OMB requirements. The experienced architect will identify, manage, and mitigate technical debt across the project. Creating a holistic, enterprise-wide architectural view of systems and their associated risks. Experience:
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience At least seven (7) years of experience with performing information security responsibilities for on premise and cloud applications. Have the ability to work independently and in a team environment Establish processes and procedures for information security best practices Be familiar with financial applications, databases, cloud services, SaaS providers and a variety of networking technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, Windows, UNIX, Linux, RedHat) Have a thorough understanding of computer programming, and training in risk management Be able to communicate technical security information clearly and concisely both written and verbally. Ability to effectively communicate risk to senior leadership in a clear and concise manner. Strong analytic capabilities with respect to technical debt and downstream implications. Have an understanding and/or experience with FISMA, FedRAMP, and the Privacy Act. Ability to translate Security in the cloud controls to FedRAMP customer controls. The Contractor shall deliver, but not limited to, the following:
Participates in risk assessment during the security assessment process. Designs, documents, and integrates information assurance architectures across technology stacks. Work across functional areas to inventory, assess, and address technology debt as it pertains to the supported business areas. Participates in information systems risk assessments and designs security countermeasures to mitigate identified risks. Ensures that the architecture and design of sensitive information systems are functional and secure. Assesses threats to the environment and provides input on the adequacy and appropriateness of security designs and architectures. Utilizes experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Experience with analyzing security risks inherent in cloud and hybrid architectures.
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Systems Architecture & Engineering, IT SecurityEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
