DESCRIPTION UL is investing in its own digital transformation leveraging cloud solutions and services. The company has recently increased the investment in Salesforce to standardize across the global sales organization. Utilizing industry and market knowledge of design and architecture, the individual would be required to design, review, and execute technology flow for customized applications at UL. The Salesforce.com (SFDC) Architect is responsible for the creation and execution of an application implementation strategy focused Sales, Quoting & Marketing solutions, as well as Field Service Lightning and other functionality on the Salesforce platform. The core of the strategy involves the design and construction of an optimized architecture that promotes performance, scalability, ease of support, service reuse and security while delivering business value through an accelerated application system development life-cycle. The Salesforce Architect is responsible for the end-to-end platform architecture that enables UL's digital business, including the overall solution design and delivery of global, multi-channel solutions that directly align with the needs of UL's digital strategy. They will be tasked with translating business requirements into specific end-to-end application solutions. This includes working with UL thought leaders to understand the underlying business architecture and provide oversight over identification of functional requirements, creation of an appropriate technical design, construction activities, testing and deployment tasks. The SFDC Architect is expected to have experience designing across multiple systems which may include Salesforce Sales, Service, Commerce Cloud, web applications, web services, system integration, data strategy, and reporting services. RESPONSIBILITIES Recommends innovative approaches to leverage new and existing Salesforce technologies as necessary. Identifies, research, and designs supporting Salesforce platform that provides services to UL's staff and clients worldwide. Develops business-focused requirements for the technical architecture, evaluates alternative technologies, and recommends appropriate solutions that fit current enterprise architecture. Determines optimal mix of key service levels in technical designs. Defines key aspects of architecture and design (e.g., scalability, availability, manageability, security, performance). Ensures a consistent and standardized environment that will ensure cost effective application delivery for the enterprise. Advises Business/IT management on IT enterprise architecture issues. Participates in the IT Standards, IT Performance, and Capacity Management processes. Maintains and applies current knowledge of information technology, particularly Salesforce. Research new and emerging technologies through industry journals, conferences, and various information sources such as SFDC Trailheads (and other resources) Gartner, Meta, etc. to help determine if and how they can be used to add value to the business. Leads projects with UL IT managers to develop and maintain three-year technology roadmaps in all technology areas and with UL Application and Information Management. Ensures the technology infrastructure and direction meets the current and forecasted needs of the application portfolio. Engages external service providers in the planning and integration new system requirements. Produce system design documents and lead technical walkthroughs. Minimize technical exposure and risk on projects. Own L4 architecture support (where L1 is service-desk, L2 is operations, L3 is delivery teams, L4 is architecture). Work closely with Business and program stakeholders to understand objectives and craft strategies to proceed Development leads to design, validates, and execute architecture vision Project Management to coordinate solutions from technical perspective and minimize technical risk Operations and support teams to take into account operational (non-functional) requirements and provide architectural support Infrastructure leads to understand, validate, and action infrastructure impacts on solution architecture What makes you a great fit:
Salesforce Certified Application Architect and/or Certified System Architect completed or in progress 5
years Salesforce experience Strong oral and written presentation skills Experience in developing software using Agile including planning and estimating work effort and task breakdown. Experience in working with large companies that have complex data solutions Demonstrated knowledge of industry trends and standards. BA/BS degree and 7

PREFERRED SKILLS Expertise on Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Field Service Lightning Deep knowledge in CPQ (configure, price, quote) PIM (product information management), and MDM (master data management) Exposure to .NET, Angular, Java Exposure to ArchiMate, C4 Model Documentation and BiZZdesign Exposure to Oracle Exposure to Data Architecture. Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Systems Architecture & EngineeringEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
