Ready to join us?We are looking for a Power and Control Technical Specialist with our Automation Solutions Group.
This is an Outside Specialist position in which you will be providing customer business outcomes and solutions for both internal and external customers specific to automation applications and related services.
This position involves working closely with end-users, system integrators, OEM's, engineering consulting firms, and electrical contractors at local high-tech customers to get our products specified for use.
We will provide extensive training opportunities on ail products and applications.
What you will do:
This is an Outside Technical Specialist position focused on all Rockwell Automation / Allen Bradley Products and related servicesPerform as Marketing/Product Manager for Rockwell Automation Power and Control Products (variable speed drives, motors, motor control centers, power quality, etc.
) and related services and as a single point of contact for the Rockwell Business UnitDevelop marketing and business plans, technical, promotional activities, and support market objectives.
Understand the existing market, trends, and competitive landscape.
Customer business outcome-driven and a total solution resourceWork with both internal and external customers on technical and product training, product selection, and pre/post-sales supportQuotation preparation, including the development of material for Rockwell Automation Power and Control Products (variable speed drives, motors, motor control centers, power quality, etc.
) and related servicesWork closely with manufacturer sales engineers and engineering consultants to get Rockwell Automation and North Coast products and services specifiedPlay an active role with your customers buying behavior, becoming an intrinsic part of a customer's future manufacturing designsMaintain a Sales Funnel to accomplish Sales Goals/Meet Sales Growth Objectives for the Rockwell Automation Power and Control Products (variable speed drives, motors, motor control centers, power quality, etc.
) and related servicesWhat you will bring:
Strong written and verbal skills in a team environmentAllen Bradley application experience with Rockwell Automation Power and Control Products (variable speed drives, motors, motor control centers, power quality, etc.
) and related servicesStrong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and TEAMSSelf-driven, active desire to develop a stronger understanding of all Rockwell Automation/AlIen-Bradley products and service offeringsCollege degree preferred or equal experience and expertise in this area.
