Reporting to the Virtual Consults and Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) Lead, the Remote Technology Implementation (RTI) Specialist, will support the implementation and use of vendor technologies that provide or facilitate largely indirect delivery of care, such asA patient app that uses a natural language processing engine that engages patients and shares information with providers;A remote patient monitoring platform that collects and shares patient's readings from connected devices such as a BP Cuff, Scale, glucometer, or Pulse-oximeterA platform that supports patient referrals from community providers to MMC specialists;Telemedicine carts that connect affiliated ED providers to Maimonides' specialists to facilitate consultations and avoid unnecessary transfers or admissions;The Digital Health team anticipates the compliment of platforms we support will change over time as we expand our offerings.
You will contribute to Maimonides' use of these and other remote technologies through program design, implementation, deployment, and ongoing program operation and optimization.
You will also need to be an excellent communicator and to draw upon project management, change management, quantitative-reasoning, and process improvement skills.
Using a high degree of independence and professionalism, you will collaborate with the Virtual Consults and Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) Lead to manage the organization's multiple remote technology initiatives through the entire project lifecycle, with shared accountability for program success that includes initial project management, program build, launch, post go-live support and ongoing process/program improvement, working in collaboration with clinical and administrative stakeholders.
In addition, The RTI Specialist will have programmatic responsibilities that may include:
Monitoring of day-to-day clinical dashboards and patient engagement, management of projects through the entire lifecycle, including program design, business planning, development, implementation, and process improvement, ensuring the sustainability and functional efficiency of our RPM programs;Partnering with MMC's clinical, technical, and operational teams on the design and implementation of RTI initiative(s), including inventory and supply management;Developing support and training materials and providing subject matter expertise (tier-2 support) on technical aspects of RTI initiatives; andDeveloping metrics, dashboards, and standardized reports to monitor performance of programs and services.
Provide outcome metrics on completed projects for department leadership;We require:

Bachelor's degreeA'.
3-5 years of experience in working for a healthcare system/provider, healthcare technology vendor, health plan, and/or virtual care/telehealth experience A'.
Diligent, able to multi-task, problem-solve, and work independentlyDesired Qualifications and Skills:

Project Management Professional (PMP) certificationA'.
Strong communications skills, including writingA'.
Strong, demonstrable experience implementing and supporting telehealth programsPlease note:
Primarily remote position, but candidates must live within commuting distance to MMC to attend meetings etc.
