100% Remote Mobile iOS or Android Engineer
Eliassen Group is looking for a 100% remote Mobile Android or iOS Engineer (2 positions) This role will be supporting one of the top financial companies in the nation.
This project will be helping support Mobile Applications for Credit Cards' this is the largest mobile team in the company and there is a lot of room to grow along with long term opportunities.

years of professional Android experienceResponsibilitiesDevelop Android client code solutions that deliver on Product Strategy and adheres to established engineering best practices, design guidelines and principlesDevelop API solutions built in AWS to support the development of mobile features taking into account the needs and requirements of all platformsPartner with Software Engineers, UX/UI, Architects, Product Owners/Analysts to deliver high performing quality customer experiences that are engaging, purposeful and powerful in their simplicityActively participate in all team agile ceremonies and contribute to ensure that all team commitments are delivered on time and of the highest qualityBe an active advocate of the Android platform through internal developer communityInfluence and contribute to group discussions and incorporate feedback/communication from broader teamMentor junior members of the teamActively engage with developers outside of the local sprint team across various disciplines (Android, iOS, APIs, Web, etc.
)Identify opportunities to drive and contribute beyond team commitmentsProficiency with Android Studio toolingUnderstanding of Android unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Robolectric, etc.
)Preferred QualificationsExperience driving direction, driving consensus and delivering small to medium sized/complexity components independentlyAbility to detect and abstract common patterns in codeProficient in 2-3 Android SDK components (Content Providers, Networking, Services, Broadcast Receivers, Intents, Fragments)Experience with Google libraries (Play services, Maps, etc.
)Exploration of multiple form factors (phone, tablet, wearables)Experience with Android 4.
0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and higherExperience with DVCS (Git, Github)Familiarity with Agile delivery practicesUnderstanding of core Android constructs (Layouts, Widgets, Views, Services, Activities and Fragments)Advanced Java OO knowledge (abstract classes, interfaces, anonymous classes, etc.
)Experience presenting coding topics to development peer groupAWS Solutions Architect Associate Certified.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
