Internal Audit Lead - Remote
M9 Solutions is seeking an Internal Audit Lead to work remotely on a government contract for a client located in Arlington, VA.
An active Secret clearance is required.
ResponsibilitiesThe Internal Audit Lead will be supporting audit facilitation and audit remediation efforts over the revenue and funds receipt and distribution business processes.
Lead technical team execution on day-to-day basis, client delivery is #1 focus.
Perform against and maintain Integrated Project Plan (IPP) execution.
Work with stakeholders as primary points to build and execute plans to address most priority requirements, as identified in IPP.
Prepare briefings for our customer and Army leadership.
Additional tasks include but are not limited to working with stakeholders to respond to audit requests (PBCs, walkthroughs, sample testing, etc.
).
Hold meetings with independent public auditor, drafting/reviewing corrective action plans to address NFRs.
Identify impediments to audit progress, and driving business process improvements to enable audit progress.
Required Skills And QualificationsAn active Secret clearance is required.
Master's degree in accounting, Business, Finance, or IT.
At least 6 years of federal experience and with a Masters or have one of the following certificates:
CPA, CGFM, CDFM, or PMP.
Ability to work collaboratively with and across teams to achieve a common goal.
Experience conducting audit or providing audit support, proactive in bringing innovation to overcome obstacles, and knowledge of financial management processes.
