Summary:
Support stand-up of systems engineering capability within the company, with a particular focus on Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and digital engineering (DE) environments.
Includes helping to outfit the company with industry standard MBSE tools like MagicDraw/Cameo and developing organic MBSE capabilities and training for an eventual Systems Engineering team.
Education and
Experience:
BS in Engineering (Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and/or Software Engineering) or Computer Science3 - 7 years of MBSE/digital engineering experience preferredEssential Duties:
Help establish a robust Systems Engineering/MBSE capability within the company, to include hardware/software, network and security, engineering skill sets, and trainingSupport execution of advanced research and development in system engineering/digital engineeringSupport establishing a Digital Engineering (DE) environment across various tools and customer requirementsSupport implementation of necessary methods, processes, tools, training, and network data transfers to establish an efficient, synchronized, and cohesive DE environmentPerform the following using MBSE tools/methods:
requirements analysis/synthesis, requirements definition and management, functional analysis, performance analysis, system design and trade study analysis, and system integration and verification modelingWork with Business Development to identify Systems Engineering/MBSE opportunities to help grow and establish the capabilityKnowledge, Skill and Abilities:
Proficient in SysML, MagicDraw/Cameo, Innoslate, MATLAB, MS Office, and Adobe productsStrong knowledge in systems engineering and design for military aircraft, vessels, and weapons systemsKnowledge of USN, USCG, and/or USAF systems engineering processes/requirements preferredExperience establishing and architecting relationships across the following types of models:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
