Acts as an individual contributor and/or member of a team and may perform some leadership functions for small projects/programs or other work activities.
The incumbent provides technical and analytical support for the Aircraft Certification Service (AIR) training management program under the direction of more experienced professionals.
Applies experience and advanced knowledge applicable to his/her discipline to plan and accomplish assignments.
Provides guidance and advice to management, AIR employees, training contractors, and team members as it relates to training enrollments and requirements.
Contributes to the development/revision of AIR national training policies and procedures, including Quality Management System documents.
Serves as the focal point for AVS, AIR Management, Leadership Development, and Occupational Safety and Health Training programs, to include validating service-wide training attendance requirements, executing and monitoring enrollments, and serving as the point of contact on all program areas of responsibility.
Develops and prepares program status reports, narratives, statistical charts, and graphs as they pertain to AIR training programs.
Creates and populates databases for training information.
Conducts special projects that may include research, information gathering, and analysis.
Interprets guidelines and provides advice to management on the operation of assigned programs and the interrelationships of such programs.
Demonstrates considerable independence in planning time and using assigned resources to accomplish tasks and/or projects.
Responsible for providing a full range of administrative and operational support for the training management program, to include:
Executing the annual training requirements including data gathering, enrollments, communicating enrollment status, and socializing open quotas to AIR personnel.
Supporting managers and staff by generating, maintaining, and organizing reports from multiple systems.
Supporting staff with administrative tasks related to compliance, generating program documents, and monitoring progress status.
Drafting/preparing written correspondence including agendas, reports, and minutes ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness with limited supervision and direction.
Supporting in the collection and compilation of statistical data, required to prepare reports.
Assisting in maintaining and archiving program and administrative files.
Coordinating small and large meetings, including handling logistical arrangements, making hotel and travel arrangements, and providing on-site support.
Developing and maintaining databases and assisting with the day-to-day organizational coordination of user support and communications.
Evaluating, proposing, and/or implementing innovative and/or new administrative and operational processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of support provided to the assigned organizations.
Collecting and analyzing data/information in order to reach conclusions.
Contacts typically are internal and external, with regular contacts among major subdivisions and LOB/SOs, customers, and other external parties to share information about the FAA and explain the applications of policies and procedures.
Work is reviewed periodically, typically at major milestones and at completion, for policy compliance and alignment with the requirements of projects and/or other work activities.
Work activities typically support and may be vital to the success of projects and/or activities for one or more organizational units, major subdivisions, and/or LOB/SOs.

QualificationsTo qualify for the position applicants must demonstrate in their application they possess at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower level (FV-G, FV/GS- 10/11).
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the positions.
Specialized experience is described as:
Experience using eLearning management systems and software to conduct training enrollments, run reports, log completions, and conduct data integrity.
Experience conducting studies of processes, operations, administrative and/or management services to evaluate program effectiveness and to recommend improvements to processes.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
