This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within US Customs and Border Protection, Office of Facilities and Asset Management, Front Office, located in Washington DC.
Law enforcement positions are expected to report to their duty station on a daily basis.
However, due to COVID-19, some positions in CBP are currently in an expanded telework posture.

This position starts at a salary of $126,233.
00 (GS-14, Step 1) to $164,102.
00 (GS-14, Step 10) with promotion potential to $164,102 (GS-14 Step 10).
Typical Work Assignments include:
Providing a wide range of high-level executive, programmatic, strategic, and project support to the OFAM Assistant Commissioner (AC), Deputy Assistant Commissioner (DAC) and Chief of Staff (COS).
Guiding OFAM task management and reporting to support effective, timely, and accurate information sharing and work product delivery, to include Agency, Departmental, and other federal deliverables.
Establishing and maintaining a mature task management program, with a charter, defined roles and responsibilities, processes, templates, and metrics.
Ensuring that deliverables meet content and quality-related expectations, including completeness, accuracy, and timeliness.
Working closely with the OFAM Front Office to manage the rapid flow of work, handling many tasks that span multiple programs and projects, and transitioning between big picture, long-term strategic priorities, and tactical, time sensitive assignments.

Qualifications
Experience:
You qualify for the GS-14 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as:
Providing confidential advice on matters considered to be sensitive in nature.
Serving as a primary point of contact, coordinator, and liaison for all incoming and outgoing tasking deliverable and correspondence.
Reviewing, analyzing, and prioritizing incoming tasks and correspondence; coordination with requesting and responsible parties to ensure appropriate guidance and contest for quality deliverables.
Distributing and managing tasks, following-up to ensure timely completion, and providing regular status report to the front office and other components.
Managing task management program operations, to include development/maintenance of charters, processes, templates, metrics, and systems.
