Accountant (Gov Con) Contract-Hire

Our client a growing consulting firm in the renewable energy space is seeking Sr.
Accountant on a temp-hire basis.
This individual MUST have Government Contract industry experience.
They are looking to get someone started with in a week.

35-40 hr (Coverts 75-90k) MUST HAVE:
BS, Accounting (or Business Related) A Min of 3 years of accounting experience out of Government Contracting Experience monitoring and tracking labor costs funded by multiple sources, such as cost plus, time and materials, and firm fixed-priced contracts and cost proposals Responsibilities Create accounting projects in contract accounting systems such as UNANET, Deltek Costpoint, JAMIS, or similar.
Ensure all project setup and maintenance functions comply with organizational standards and internal controls.
Support contract and subcontract financial management; financial reporting; contract budget, analysis, and forecasting for different funding sources; and pipeline tracking.
Maintain project financial records.
Compile program reports, budget forecasts, and financial presentations and other materials to support the client and Program Managers.
Review agreement requests and draft purchase orders and subcontracts.
Assist in project closeouts concerning final disposition of project budgets.
Verify completeness of documentation, terms, and conditions for subcontracts and procurements, including sufficient funding.
Work with Business Development staff to develop cost and pricing proposals.
Provide input on budget realignments.
Review solicitations and identify cost-related risks.
Perform other duties as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Auditing, or related field and 5 years of experience in financial management and budget analysis Experience working with US Government contracts Experience monitoring and tracking labor costs funded by multiple sources, such as cost plus, time and materials, and firm fixed-priced contracts and cost proposals Advanced knowledge of cost accounting standards Familiarity of and experience with US regulations and requirements applicable to development assistance and acquisition, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Enterprise resource planning accounting modules, spreadsheet programs, and other software applications for financial analysis Sufficient budgeting skills for reviewing prime contracts and subcontracts Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external clients Consistent understanding of client regulations, policies, and procedures IND 002-003.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
