This OpportunityWSP is currently initiating a search for a Rail Signaling Design Manager for our Washington, DC office.
Be involved in projects with our Transit and Rail team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client's objectives and solves their challenges.
The successful candidate will deliver Functional Signaling design for complex signaling project schemes under industry and company standards and processes.
Your ImpactKnowledge of industry standards (eg CENELEC, AREMA, IEEE, IPC, etc.
) Responsible for producing functional design documentation, including system requirements and architecture, interface control, scheme plans, control tables, block design, and analyses as appropriateEnsuring design compliance through requirement traceabilityEnsuring the Functional documents produced are issued and controlled following company processesParticipating in or leading reviews to detect design errors, process and tool inefficiencies, and putting in place corrective and improvement actionsGuarantee the functional analysis of V feedback and site testsDefine the scope of the project, with full responsibility for interpreting, organizing, and executing project assignments for rail signaling systemProvide advice and guidance within rail systems on systems engineering and systems integration Collaborate with professionals from a variety of disciplines to provide trusted advisor service and future ready solutions for clients.
Supporting the Systems Engineering and Integration Lead in supporting multiple projects' engineering and delivery teamsSupport of construction activities from the office and in the fieldAssist in the commissioning and setting to work of Rail Control systemsExperience in CBTC technologyWho You AreRequired QualificationsMinimum 12 years of experience in rail/transit projects or rail systems projectsBachelor's degree in engineering or related fieldExperience in the delivery and design of large scale metro projects Experience in CBTC technologyPreferred Qualifications Professional Engineer License WMATA Experience #LI-KB1.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
