EMCOR Government Services is seeking a SeniorChief Operating Engineer in Washington, DC or College Park, MDto provide operations and maintenance support for the National Archives Building in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities:
Supervision of Chief Operating Engineer (NARA - College Park and Washington, DCSupervision of other Operating EngineersProvides supervisory assistance and technical support of operations and maintenance at NARA - College Park and or Washington, DCServes as Acting Operational Manager for NARA DC and College Park.
Performs asset/equipment inspections, recommends improvements per industry standards, develops project estimates for IDIQ work.
Be available and flexible to supervise, on-site 24/7/365 critical operations.
Performing duties associated with the operation, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration and air-conditioning and heating equipmentMaking adjustments and minor repairs to mechanical and electrical equipment and component parts of heating and air-conditioning systems and auxiliary support equipmentMaking physical inspections of equipment and tests equipment for correct operation of all components of the refrigeration cycle and other relevant factors contributing to the proper and efficient operation of HVAC systemsAnswering occupants' complaints relating to HVACProviding technical support in the efficient and safe operation and maintenance of all mechanical equipmentProposing operational changes to improve efficient use of the facilities equipment.
Qualifications:
Senior Chief Engineer must possess a valid 1st Class Steam Engineer License issued by District of Columbia or Maryland.
Possess skill and knowledge in HVAC systemsHave the ability to perform preventive maintenance on all operational and mechanical equipmentHave knowledge to operate related electrical equipment and machinery.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
