Job Description:
Who We Are The Global Information Security organization (GIS) at Bank of America protects bank information systems, confidential and proprietary data, and customer information.
The Cyber Threat Defense Operations Team (CTDO) assesses threats and emerging risks, evaluates cyber security controls and defines observations to remediate risks.
The Cyber Threat Defense Program:
Analyzes threats and incidents to the bank Identifies gaps to be remediated by control owners, observation Item owners, and policy and standard owners Evaluates and influences the improvement of Bank of America's risk and control environment for cyber security threats and emerging risks The Role The Governance Lead will help keep the bank secure through the development and delivery of program-wide observations to escalate and demonstrate program risk for escalation to GIS leadership.
The Program Risk Governance Senior Analyst will work closely with the Service Delivery Functional Lead, Program Risk Team Members, and CTDO leadership, providing timely updates in a constantly changing environment and engaging team members to identify key messages.
This leader will collaborate with peers to identify, design, and deliver upon requests in governance and reporting routines to reduce the bank's identified risk.
The Senior Analyst will liaise with other leaders across functions to maintain insight into all threats and risks as they are evaluated throughout the program.
The right candidate will be comfortable working in an environment that is open and collaborative, with a global presence.
Key Responsibilities include:
Manage follow-up for CTDO program risks to remediate the bank's risk of exposure to threats Partner with GIS teams, providing CTDO insights Work with CTDO Analysts to understand and communicate risk reduction processes Effectively engage with the CTDO Executive and aligned partners Essential Skills Knowledge and experience engaging with senior leadership and responding to risk and compliance requests are key to this role.
A strong candidate will have extraordinary communication skills and be comfortable synthesizing complex information, empowering GIS senior leaders to effectively communicate to internal risk and audit partners, and external regulators.
This leader will work with others to solve new and challenging problems in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
