IT Project Manager

ECS is seeking an IT Project Manager to work in our Washington DC office.
Job Description:
Advise larger enterprise groups and collaborate and coordinate with other government agenciesCan solve complex challenges or interpret ambiguous taskingCreate and execute outreach campaigns and communicate effectively with key stakeholdersOrganize program materials so all team-members and or stakeholders have accessed the needed resources, guidance, and informationInterpret policy and guidance; then, breakdown how should be implemented within the FBIAbility to self-start and work tasks independently, if neededAbility to pivot activities for priority projects while still attempting to meet deadlines of prior taskingsPrepare materials for wide audiences and can communicate an idea and/or initiativeCan organize data to create a narrative then ability to visualize the dataProject Management Skills:
Break down an objective into smaller tasks, identify a timeline and road map to reach the overall objective (s)Think ahead for longer term impactProficient in SharePoint, Excel, and PowerPoint are desiredResponsible for the full life cycle project management of a wide variety of IT projectsWork closely with engineering staff to ensure strict adherence to scope, schedule, and budget, and to ensure successful project executionRegular interface with senior management, design engineers, stakeholders, implementation team members, vendors, and subcontractorResponsible for project initiation, planning, execution, and control.
Identifies and reports on Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Performance MeasuresFacilitates definition of project missions, goals, tasks, and resource requirements and works to resolve or assist in the resolution of cross-divisional resource or project conflictsStrategic Planning, Performance Analysis and ReportingRisk identification, analysis, and mitigationMay establish Integrated Project Teams (IPTs) and conduct kickoff meetings with all stakeholders Establish and implement processes and procedures to effectively manage technical portfoliosRequired Skills:
Active Top Secret Clearance with the capability of obtaining SCI/CI-Poly if needed to meet contract requirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline, or equivalent education and experience.
5years of experience in IT Project management10years of IT related experiencePMP certificationExperience managing large scale IT projectsExperience with Atalassian suite of toolsStrong attention to detailStrong customer focus, including the ability to manage customer needs and multiple work prioritiesFamiliarity with Enterprise Architecture processes including DODAF, FEAF and TBMDesired Skills:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
