Marketing Coordinator

Description This candidate will provide administrative and communications support to the Communications team for Public and Industry Engagement (Community Engagement) for a large Federal agency.
Responsibilities include meeting support, developing reports, PowerPoints, web content, and other collateral.
This position will work with other Communication Specialists and contractors on campaigns to inform the community and other stakeholders of updates to airports or other activities that may impact the community.
This individual will provide administrative support for FAA Community Engagement virtual events and outreach activities in collaboration with regional offices, service centers, the FAA Office of Communications, and other stakeholders.
The Junior Communications Specialist also assists in tracking, reporting, and measuring the overall effectiveness of communications activities Technical Skills & Responsibilities Provide support to Community Engagement through creation of communications, strategic messaging, creative production, and content development Synthesize complex program initiatives and policies to create messaging for community, industry, and stakeholders Assist with conceptualization, design, and development of communications collateral, as well as initiatives including event experiences, website content, video scripts, and other multi-media assets Management of Community Engagement web content on internal FAA websites Assist in the production and execution of live virtual events Ensure collateral is up-to-date and reflects the organization's current policies Strategize next steps and expansion campaigns for the Community Engagement program and its communication initiatives.
Requirement & Skills:
Provide support to Community Engagement through creation of communications, strategic messaging, creative production, and content development Synthesize complex program initiatives and policies to create messaging for community, industry, and stakeholders Assist with conceptualization, design, and development of communications collateral, as well as initiatives including event experiences, website content, video scripts, and other multi-media assets Management of Community Engagement web content on internal FAA websites Assist in the production and execution of live virtual events Ensure collateral is up-to-date and reflects the organization's current policies Strategize next steps and expansion campaigns for the Community Engagement program and its communication initiatives Excellent writing skills with demonstrated experience writing and editing communications, articles, web content, marketing materials, and communications plans Detail-oriented with strong copy-editing skills Skilled in communications and marketing strategy with experience developing and managing projects in those areas A working knowledge of branding concepts and writing for the web A team player with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to work on cross-functional teams Must be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines Basic understanding of graphic editing and resizing Experience using web content management system (CMS) and managing web content Experience with email marketing programs (e.

, MailChimp, Constant Contact, GovDelivery Innovative - prefers working in unconventional ways or on tasks that require creativity Education & Experience Bachelor's degree with a major in Education, English, journalism, history, political science or equivalent degrees are required.
Intermediate Microsoft Office abilities 5 years Candidate must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance.
