Summary:
The Senior Security Project Manager is responsible for managing and delivering multiple physical security projects to include but not limited to; residential security, physical strategy, strategic operations center (SOC) development, intrusion detection system planning and installation, from initiation to closure, adhering to project scope, timeline, and budget constraints.
Duties /
Responsibilities:
Leads a team of Security Project Managers to provide oversight for a portfolio of physical security projects Manages and leads physical security-related projects and oversees other project tasked to the Security Project Managers; may be assigned individual projects as well (high visibility or complex projects) Develop and maintain project execution plans for the portfolio addressing budgets and schedules with input and buy-in from key stakeholders and team members Develop detailed project plans for the portfolio, including timelines, resource allocation, and budgeting, to ensure successful project execution.
Establishes project goals and success factors for portfolio Provide oversight for day-to-day operations Ensure accounting and accuracy for tasks Oversee quality control/assurance plans Ensure compliance with safety requirements Provide lessons learned documentation for portfolio Balances cost, schedule, budget, quality, and scope Monitors and measures project progress throughout project lifecycle and conducts corrective action as necessary for portfolio Responsible for producing monthly data to the Program Manager; lead weekly status meetings with the Security Project Mangers Skills:
Proficient in conducting comprehensive risk assessments, identifying vulnerabilities, and implementing effective mitigation strategies to improve project performance or enhance physical security measures.
Extensive knowledge of various physical security systems, including access control systems, video surveillance, intrusion detection systems, and perimeter security solutions.
Skilled in leading cross-functional teams, providing clear direction, and fostering collaboration to achieve project goals and objectives.
Proven ability to develop and manage project budgets, allocate resources effectively, and optimize project efficiency.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders, vendors, and clients, ensuring project requirements are met and expectations are exceeded.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to assess complex security challenges and develop innovative solutions.
In-depth understanding of industry standards and regulations related to physical security, such as the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) guidelines and the Physical Security Professional (PSP) certification.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
